FIELD: catalytic conversion of hydrocarbons. SUBSTANCE: the tubular converter for primary reforming and the shaft converter for secondary reforming are placed in the same casing; the reaction pipes are made as modules containing close-tube banks enveloped by a shell and installed on a plate located in the lower part of the casing, and the catalytic layer for secondary reforming is positioned in the upper part of the casing under the burning chamber above the modules of reaction pipes so that hot converted gas is uniformly distributed in modules in the interpipe space, restrained by shells. The cooled converted gas pipe connection is located in the lower part of the casing; the inlet and outlet pipe connections, transfer manifold and the gas conduit are located in special cavities made in the casing lining. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of heat exchange and enhanced capacity. 1 dwg
