FIELD: gasification of carbon materials. SUBSTANCE: invention covers internal combustion engines and gasification of farmer economies, buildings and small productive areas involving operation on solid, preferably disperse, brown coal with oxygen-steam blast. Under inclined barrier 2 vertical blind 5 is fastened to separate blast channel 3 into two interconnected compartments. The latter communicate with hollow of casing 1 through bent pipes 8 and 9. Pipes are secured in the holes of upper part of barrier 2. Compartments enclose electrodes 6 and 7. Means providing high- temperature hearth in the casing is made in the form of electric discharge candle 10 which is located in the casing over upper part of barrier 2 in the zone where bent pipes 8 and 9 come out.
