FIELD: mining, particularly underground gasification during thin coal seam cutting.
SUBSTANCE: method involves drilling holes in coal seam; creating parallel channels communicated with transversal flange channels; supplying blast gas in the channels and removing gas via discharge holes communicated with parallel channels; connecting flange channel end with discharge hole surface; creating fire channel in at least one parallel channel, which is outermost from discharge hole of flange channel; providing discharge channel with carbon dioxide extraction means; performing thermal decomposition of coal located near fire channel in neighboring parallel channel during coal massif gasification by passing heated blast gas via the channel. The blast gas contains part of gasification products and/or flue gases - gasification product combustion products.
EFFECT: possibility to obtain high-calorific gas of predetermined and stable composition.
