FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the metallurgy of noble metals, in particular to the processing of sulphide concentrates containing noble metals. Carried out hydrochemical fine-tuning of sulfide concentrate in a solution of nitric acid with separation of the mother liquor solution. "Golden head" concentrate is dewatered, placed in a reactor and the impurities are dissolved with a solution of nitric acid with constant stirring with the speed of rotation of the stirrer shaft of 250–500 rpm and the continuous supply of oxygen-containing gas. Retrieved solution is filtered to obtain a gold-containing insoluble residue which is washed with water and subjected to oxidative firing at 650–750 °C. Retrieved "golden head" cinder is baked with brown and soda and melted to produce ingots of ligature gold and slag.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the extraction of gold in the ingot, an increase in the melting rate of up to 80 kg/h or more.
