FIELD: multiple-stage car garage. SUBSTANCE: car garage has blocks made crossed in plan and mounted on interconnected boxes. Central box is provided with lift. Garage has car loading-unloading stage positioned at the level of entrance ways, service room and pallet storage boxes. Boxes are made square in plan and composed of standard construction members. Each box is adapted to receive two cars, i.e. eight cars per each stage, except for car loading-unloading stage. Height of box corresponds to that of car. Cars are delivered for storage by lifting apparatus having lift with platform rotating through 360 deg and provided with two telescopic hydraulic drives for moving pallets sliding along rails. To park a car, it is driven onto pallet and into one of boxes of car loading-unloading stage having entrance ways. Driver manipulates car to prepare it for storage and gets out of it. Further operations for delivering car into loading apparatus and into box are carried out in automated mode or by means of lifter. Pallet with car is moved by hydraulic drives to one of car places in any of free boxes by orienting rotary platform. Delivery of car from box is carried out in reverse order. Presence of two pallets on lifting apparatus allows car supplying and delivering operations to be combined. Getting of clientele into parking boxes is excluded. Computer system may be used to control automated multiple-stage garage. It allows garage to be used for both long-term and short-term storage of cars without appointing place to definite client. Boxes of different sizes may be manufactured depending on car mark. Number of blocks is determined depending on regional requirements and is accounted for during designing of garage. For instance, in the region with 12-storey buildings, garage may have 18-22 stages at the same aboveground height. Garage may be built to apartment houses.
