FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: multistoried parking unit or garage has hoisting mechanism with load platforms. Hoisting mechanism is mounted on load-bearing structure. Load-bearing structure is made sectional with possible change of configuration with respect to line of horizon from 0 to 90 deg in process of assembling. Attached to upper part and lower part of load-bearing structure is hoisting mechanism which is made in the form of monorail with running gear. Additionally mounted on running gear are upper bracket and lower bracket, and load platform. Mounted on lower bracket is jack which is pivotally connected with lower surface of load platform. Holes are made in load platform. Installed in these holes are wheel stops with mechanism for engagement of stops. Also provided are limiters of width dimension. Each parking deck in all levels of garage is provided with ramp adapted for extending to load platform at moment of its stopping at given story. Application of aforesaid monorail garage allows for increasing efficiency in using municipal area for storing of motor vehicles and for reducing expenses for building of garages or parking units.
