FIELD: pump engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has multi- stage pump, turbine 2, rotor 3, unloading space of impeller 4 with control member 7, axial space in the control member, and discharging space 8 downstream of the unloading space and seal of rotor 16 that separates the spaces of the turbine and pump. Discharging space 8 is connected with the inlet of impeller 9 of the second stage with openings 10 and 11 in the impellers and ring passageway 12 defined by the shaft and hubs of the impellers. From the side of the disk of the turbine the housing is provided with ring projection 14 arranged in its periphery portion. The projection defines an axial space together with the end face of the disk of the turbine and unloading space 5 together with the separating seal of rotor 13. When the rotor is shifted to the turbine the axial space is equal to the axial stroke of the rotor. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
