FIELD: pump manufacture, particularly, manufacture of high-lift centrifugal pumps. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal pump has casing, rotor movable in axial direction and disc of squeezing-out device. Rotor is installed in casing and supported in bearings. Disc of squeezing-out device is secured to rotor shaft. Mounted on shaft is impeller combined with balancing ring, which forms together with casing unloading cavity of rotor automatic balancing device. Unloading cavity is separated from low-pressure cavity by face regulating throttle. Formed on both sides of squeezing-out device are unloading cavities formed by disc of squeezing-out device, casing and cylindrical throttles. Pipelines supplying and discharging working medium are connected to unloading cavities. Installed in pipelines are pressure regulators in unloading cavities and pressure pickups. Rotor axial position pickup is installed on side of unloading cavity. Said centrifugal pump is used in control testing of pumps. Invention allows preservation of high serviceability of centrifugal pump at any transient conditions of operation, increase of its efficiency under normal operating conditions, and makes it possible to determine by experiments the characteristic of rotor automatic balancing device.
