FIELD: rocket manufacturing; turbopump sets of liquid-propellant rocket engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed high- speed high-pressure centrifugal pump has stator, rotor installed for axial displacement relative to stator, and impeller with carrying and over disks installed on rotor shaft. Pump is provided with pivot, groove seal made on carrying disk of impeller, end face adjusting slot between pivot and ring projection on carrying disk of impeller, ball bearing installed between end faces of stator and resting on thrust end face of stator from side of impeller carrying disk. Flexible element with rotor axial displacement stop is installed between end face of stator and end face ball bearing at side opposite to thrust end face of stator. Axial displacement stop is made in form of ring resting on flexible element and on end face of ball bearing. Stop can be made in form of separate ring in which cylindrical projection is made below inner diameter of flexible element. Cylindrical projection forms axial clearance with housing. Flexible element of stop rests on this projection and is connected with this projection. Contact of all balls with ball bearing races under action of axial forces of flexible element precludes slipping of balls and precession of rotor and improves serviceability of ball bearings. EFFECT: reduction of axial loads on ball bearings at starting of pump owing to improved effici9ency of automatic axial unloading. 2 cl, 2 dwg
