FIELD: timber-working industry, applicable for drying of lumber by induction heating. SUBSTANCE: the chamber uses a muffle of ferromagnetic material, lining and induction winding connected to a power source and enveloping the muffle, as well as means for measurement of temperature and moisture content of the drying agent, and a means for removal of moisture from the chamber. In contradistinction to the prototype the offered chamber is furnished with a means for heat abstraction from the muffle walls by the flow of drying agent. This means is made in the form of a U-shaped screen located in a spaced relation longitudinally to the muffle walls enveloped by the mentioned induction winding; the screen in its middle part of section is furnished with windows with blowers, installed in them. EFFECT: reduced power consumption, more uniform heating of chamber volume and more uniform distribution of residual moisture in volume of dried pile. 7 cl, 3 dwg
