PROCESS MEASURING DISTRIBUTION OF THERMAL FIELD OF HEATING BY SHF RADIATION AND DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: radio measurement technology, measurement of temperature field of heating by SHF radiation in closed chambers, test of distribution of thermal field of heating by SHF radiation inside SHF furnace. SUBSTANCE: matrix 2 with M x N temperature sensitive elements 2 is placed into SHF chamber in area where it is necessary to measure temperature relief.. SHF heating is switched on for time to heat temperature sensitive elements 2 to temperature of 60-80 C. In this case all key regularities of structure of SHF field in chamber will be reflected in temperature field on temperature sensitive elements 2. Then matrix 1 is taken out of SHF chamber 3 and placed into thermostat 4, thermostat is closed by cover which internal side carries matrix 5 with semiconductor temperature sensors 6 that contact corresponding temperature sensitive elements 2. Temperature sensor 6 presents p-n junction of transistor in metal case. It forms voltage proportional to temperature of temperature sensitive element 2 across its output. Thus temperature relief of field of SHF chamber 3 transforms to change of voltage across outputs of temperature sensors 6. Commutator 7 connects each temperature sensor 6 to analog-to-digital converter 8 in turn, it converts this voltage to digital form and sends this voltage through matching unit 9 into personal computer 10 that computes values of temperatures by measured values of voltage across outputs of temperature sensors 6 using their calibration characteristics.
