FIELD: agriculture, in particular, seed growing. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has drum positioned for rotation in horizontal plane on two hollow split axles and equipped with charging opening having cover. Pairs of ribs inclined one toward another are positioned inside drum. Drum charging opening cover is composed of two metal disks and is located on drum through metal ring axially aligned with opening and having diameter d(ring) nearly equal to d(opening)+ λ/2 and thickness h=(3-4)t, where t is thickness of disks. Disks have diameter d1 > d(ring) and d2 <d(ring) and are coaxially closed one with respect to another, with gap B between disks being equal to h-t across diameter d3 nearly equal to d2- λ/2. Screen with curvature angle α less than 60 deg is positioned along rear edge of charging opening inside drum. Electromagnetic microwave energy emitter is inserted into drum through one of split axles and connected to microwave energy source, which, in its turn, is connected to control unit. Each of split axles is equipped with axial opening having diameter less than λ of microwave energy source and rigidly fixed centrally of drum side wall. Metal throttle bushing positioned for rotation inside each split axle has length (2n+1)λ/4, where n is whole number. Bushing has coaxial annular groove on its outer end, with depth of groove being equal to λ/4, and cylindrical surface covered with layer of high-voltage dielectric. Super-high frequency band line is passed through one of split axles and extremely high-frequency band line is passed through other split axle, each of lines being connected to related bushing. Control unit is connected to extremely high-frequency band source to control drum rotation. Apparatus is used for presowing treatment of seeds of different crops.
