FIELD: determination of movement of object in space. SUBSTANCE: direction finder is so designed that signals from different antennas 1, 2 pass through same units 3-11 of direction finder sequentially in time which provides for high accuracy of measurement of received signals since phase shifts in units 3-11 are identical for both channels 16 and 17 of direction finder. If it will be necessary to determine direction in three-dimensional space then there is provided at least one more linear row of antennas which should be placed preferable at angle of 90 deg to first row of antennas. One antenna may be common for both rows of antennas. Number of channels of adjustment of phase-lock control depends on number of receiving antennas 1, 2, etc. Switches 3 and 11 are selected for corresponding number of commutations. Increased accuracy of determination of direction of object in space is achieved thanks to automatic measurement of phase shifts emerging in units of direction finder including frequency converter 6 and limiter 7 with change of levels of input signals within wide limits and their accounting for resultant values of phase shifts. EFFECT: increased accuracy of determination of direction of movement of object in space. 4 dwg
