FIELD: information encoding and transmission, in particular, electronic information devices, recording, broadcasting, TV equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves generation of modulation signal as sequence of non-rectangular periodic pulses, multiplication of analog signal by modulation signal in order to achieve modulated signal, comparison of modulated signal to reference constant, generation of encoded pulses which leading edges start in moments when modulated signal and reference constant are equal, sending of encoded pulses to decoder which outputs demodulation signal which is inverse to modulation one, detection of values of demodulation signal for leading edges of encoded pulses and generation of discrete values of converted analog signal.
