FIELD: information encoding and transmission, in particular, for information electronic devices, recording, broadcasting and TV equipment. SUBSTANCE: during direct conversion method involves generation encoding signal as sequence of non-rectangular periodic signals, generation of compiled signal by means of multiplication of analog signal by constant factor, which is greater than zero, and its addition with constant bias, subsequent generation of combined signal by means of multiplication of compiled signal by encoding signal and by constant factor which is greater than zero, and its addition with constant bias. Another claim of invention describes method in which combined signal is produced by division of compiled signal by encoding signal, its multiplication by constant factor which is greater than zero, and its addition with constant bias. Third claim of invention describes method in which combined signal is produced by division of encoding signal by compiled signal, its multiplication by constant factor which is greater than zero, and its addition with constant bias. Fourth claim of invention describes method in which combined signal is produced by subtraction of encoding signal from compiled signal. Fifth claim of invention describes method in which combined signal is produced by subtraction of compiled signal from encoding signal. Sixth claim of invention describes method in which combined signal is produced by addition of compiled signal with encoding signal. According to these claims combined signal is compared to reference constant. Seventh claim of invention describes method in which compiled signal is compared to encoding signal. Then method involves generation of encoding pulses which stepwise leading edges coincide with moments when compared values are equal to one another. During reverse conversion method involves generation of decoding signal which is equal to multiplication of constant which is greater than zero, and functional relation which is provided by resolution of equation of combined signal and reference constant with respect to analog signal in claims first to sixth and by equation of compiled and encoding signals for seventh claim. Then method involves generation of decoding pulse which value in moment when stepwise leading edge of encoded pulse is equal to value of decoding signal. This value serves as sample of converted signal. EFFECT: increased precision of converted analog signal sample. 7 cl, 7 dwg
