FIELD: agriculture, in particular, growing of lawn sod cover for sports grounds. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing soil mixture; sieving it and loading into containers with draw bottom; holding soil mixture under fallow; applying fertilizer; weeding; preparing and sowing seed mixture. Prior to loading soil mixture into containers, sand layer is preliminarily laid onto container bottom and containers are positioned onto preliminarily prepared inclined ground. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method and improved quality of sod cover. 2 dwg
