FIELD: medicine, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: an aqueous suspension has microcrystals of water-insoluble drug at solid state (diameter is 0.05-10 mcm) at amount 0.01-40 wt. -%/vol. Microcrystals are covered with the capsulating primary layer of lipid (thickness is 0.3-3 mcm). By the second variant microcrystals are covered with capsulating primary layer of lipid consisting of covering and enveloping layers and the following secondary layer (thickness is 25 nm-3 mcm) consisting of the indicated lipid in form of vesicles associated with microcrystals of drug surrounding their and distributed in suspending medium. Mass ratio of drug to lipid = (1:1)-(1000:1). Membrane-forming amphipatic lipid is phospholipid. Suspension is used for administration of high concentration of water-insoluble drug.
