FIELD: water treatment. SUBSTANCE: filtration is effected through two beds of disintegrated natural minerals: first through hematite and then through zeolite. Particle size of sorbents ranges from 2 to 5 mm. Water consumption is 1.2-1.5 l/min at ratio of sorbent volumes to hourly water flow 1: (36-45) and equal weight proportion of sorbents. EFFECT: achieved deferrization of water in acidic region of pH values (from 3 to 6).
