FIELD: refractory materials. SUBSTANCE: isolated grained powder fractions on feed tray are dedusted by means of imparting oriented vibrations to them , heated with heat emission to a temperature within the range 70 to 200 C, uniformly spread in the form of monolayer with thickness up to the single grain size all over the width of stream, and treated by homogeneous electric field of corona discharge by passing it through mentioned monolayer of periclase-containing powder, whereas concentration is performed by way of treatment in static electric field under high intensity of constant current. There is also precipitation electrode disposed under the main feed tray and made in the form of drum horizontally rotating with controlled speed matched with velocity of grain stream coming from the main feed tray. Upper surface of drum is positioned under charge corona electrode and auxiliary feed tray made in the form of a part of cylindrical surface with its generatrix being in parallel to that of drum and installed, by one end, in proximity of upper surface of horizontally rotating drum and, by its other end, on outlet of the main feed tray. The latter is provided with directed-action vibrator installed in the center of gravity of main feed tray and with, placed above it, heat-emission source and dust catcher with discharge channels disposed on the ends of main feed tray. Charge corona electrode is made as plate with pointed end extending all across the width of grain flow and apt to be adjusted along its height. Behind charge corona electrode, there is deflecting electrode made as a solid bent plate with interelectrode distance increasing in direction of rotation of precipitation electrode. Charge corona electrode is connected with deflecting electrode and negative pole of high voltage source, its positive pole being grounded and connected with precipitation electrode. EFFECT: improved design and efficiency of process. 3 cl, 1 dwg
