METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF $$$-DIOXYDIMETHYL SILOXANES Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: production of sealing materials, compounds, sealing adhesives and similar products. SUBSTANCE: $$$-dioxydimethyl siloxanes having viscosity 10000 sSt are prepared by two-stepped heating products of hydrolysis of dimethyl dichlorosilane. The process is carried out in the presence of catalytically active hydroxide and/or potassium dimethyl siloxanolate in vacuum or by mixing of reaction mixture by bubbling with inert gas. At the first step temperature is maintained within 30-70 C range, at the second step temperature is maintained within 140-175 C range. EFFECT: simplified technology for production of product; decreased energy expense by realization of the method. 2 cl
