FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: charge containing antimony raw material and fluxes is charged onto surface of slag fusion to which fuel combustion products are added. Content of oxygen in blast supplied to burn fuel constitutes 0.75-0.95 amount theoretically required for oxidizing fuel carbon into dioxide and hydrogen into water. Amount of blast is 800 to 25000 cu. m (normal)/h per 1 cu.m of smelt. Antimony compounds are isolated from gaseous smelt products by filtration at temperature above sulfuric acid dew point. Charge may be supplemented by industrial products containing metal antimony in amount 5-10% and also those containing metal iron. In the latter case, content of oxygen in blast constitutes 0.90-0.95 amount theoretically required for oxidizing fuel carbon into dioxide, hydrogen into water, and metal iron into ferrous oxide. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process. 3 cl
