FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: slims, fusing agents and carbon containing reducing agent are charged on surface of oxide molten bath. Oxygen enriched air blast is permanently fed in and over molten bath. Melting process is going under temperatures of 1200 - 1400 C. Blast oxygen amount, fed in molten bath, is 1.0 - 1.8 from theoretically required to oxidize charge carbon to get carbon oxide II. Amount of charge carbon containing reducing agent is 1.0 - 1.2 from theoretically required to reduce zinc, copper, cobalt and nickel of charge to get metals with carbon oxide II formation and to support heat balance of the process. 0.4 - 1.0 amount of oxygen from theoretically required to oxidize charge carbon and hydrogen to get carbon oxide IV and water is fed over molten bath. Feeding of carbon containing fuel in molten bath is possible. In the case oxygen amount in blast, fed in molten bath, is 1.0 - 1.7 from theoretically required to oxidize charge carbon and blast to get oxide II and hydrogen - to get water.
