FIELD: instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: inclinometer has chamber filled with liquid containing heterogeneity in density, n electrodes positioned in chamber in symmetry with axis passing through symmetry center of chamber base, support located in chamber space, and electronic unit which supplies AC voltage to electrodes and measures parameters of output electric signal. Inclinometer is provided with measuring electrode positioned on support, on axis passing through center of symmetry of chamber base, and connected to electronic unit input. Chamber is filled with conducting liquid heterogeneous in density and conductivity, n electrodes are arranged at angle of 360 deg/n, with $$$. They form system of power supply electrodes, and support is made symmetrical with axis passing through centers of symmetry of chamber base and system of power supply electrodes to which AC voltages shifted in phase by angle of 360 deg/n relative to each other are supplied from electronic unit outputs. In other variants device has peripheral resistive member instead of support. Peripheral resistive member may be made as side surface of cylindrical chamber or may be manufactured in the of two flat rings with internal leads.
