FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device has reversible superposed ultrasonic transducers. Each transducers has piezoelectric element, sound duct and damper. Sound duct is made of polymeric material, damper is of conical shape with angle between cone generatrix and base equal to 45 deg. Fitting hole is provided in sound duct for piezoelectric element and damper base at angle of 90 deg - $$$ of its longitudinal generatrix to pipe-line contacts surface, where $$$ is angle of introduction of longitudinal ultrasound wave into pipe line depending on speed of wave spreading in liquid and in materials of pipe line and sound duct.
