FIELD: measuring devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring devices, more specifically to ultrasonic flow meters for pipelines operating at cryogenic temperatures, in particular to overhead electroacoustic transducers. An overhead ultrasonic flow meter is fixed to a pipeline, and it contains a waveguide fixed to the pipeline, where Lamb wave sensors are located at ends of the waveguide in the form of a multi-element directional wave converter, characterized in that each multi-element directional wave converter is made as a set of separate waveguides for each piezoelectric element, where waveguides are metal plates, the lower edge of which rests against the pipeline, and piezoelectric elements are fixed on upper ends of plates, piezoelectric elements are removed from a cryogenic temperature zone using waveguides, piezoelectric elements at ends of waveguides are placed inside a sensor case.

EFFECT: possibility of using overhead ultrasonic flow meters on cryogenic temperature pipelines.
