FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to instrumentation and can be used for measuring flow velocity of liquid and gaseous mediums by ultrasonic technique. Ultrasonic flowmetre sensor contains measured piping segment with reversible transmitting and receiving piezoelectric transducers installed on it. Each of transducers consists of interconnected piezoelectric element, acoustic line and damper performing emission and receiving of ultrasound in measured medium without refraction. The ultrasonic flowmetre sensor is executed so that acoustic line lengths of emitting and receiving piezoelectric transducers are not equal. Acoustic line lengths differ by the value divisible by odd number of ultrasonic wave length quarters in acoustic line material on operating frequency of piezoelectric transducers.

EFFECT: improvement of measurement accuracy due to lowering the level of reverberation signals and reducing valid signal distortion.
