FIELD: technical physics; medicine. SUBSTANCE: fiber-optical piezoelectric transducer in fiber-optical interferometer is made as fiber-optical controlled delay line capable of changing the optical length of interferometer arm and. consequently, difference of optical lengths of arms by at least several dozens of interferometer operating wave lengths. Fiber-optical piezoelectric transducer is made as fiber-optical piezoelectric controlled delay line. It has piezoceramic plate the opposite surfaces of which carry electrodes and optical fiber. It is expedient to make plate in the form of disc and to arrange fiber in a spiral which facilitates wide-range variation of optical fiber length under inertia-less condition and in case of small overall dimensions of transducer.
