FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: dispersion-hardening alloy, containing 5-12% Si, 3-8% Al, 0.001-0.8% of at least one element from yttrium and lanthanide groups, and also 1.69-5% Ti, 0.81-2% B, and iron to 100%, is annealed at 1000-1100 C for 2 to 6 h and then, instead of being subjected to delayed cooling, is quenched in water and aged at 500-750 C for 1 to 5 h. Such treatment results in 1.3 times increased microhardness of alloy with no loss in magnetic properties: initial magnetic permittivity and saturation induction, and small (15%) reduction in coercive force. EFFECT: improved hardness and reduced operation time. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
