FIELD: medicine, biochemistry. SUBSTANCE: method involves extraction, purification and drying the end product. Native sapropel is used as raw being without any preliminary treatment. Sapropel extract is obtained using three-fold volume of 0.05 M ammonia solution. Extract is concentrated by evaporation by 80-100 times, kept for 24 h at -15 C, insoluble particles were removed by centrifugation at 3000-4000 g and dialyzed through cellophane T-100 against 200-fold volume of distilled water. Nondialyzable fraction is evaporated until dry and the end product is obtained as light-brown, good water-soluble powder. The end product is anticoagulant, its activity is 95 ± 3 units (UA)/1 mg dry matter. The yield is 8000-10000 UA from 1 kg sapropel. EFFECT: improved method of preparing, high yield of product. 1 tbl
