FIELD: mining and other industries. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for separation of mineral raw materials has hopper 1, conveying mechanism 2, radiation source 3, luminescence intensity measuring unit 5, device 4 for setting up boundary values of mineral luminescence intensity. The novelty in the design of the apparatus consists in introduction of unit 6 for determining attitude position of minerals, and strobing unit 7. Input of unit 6 is connected to unit 5 and output is connected to input of unit 7. Output of unit 7 is connected to the second input of comparator unit 8. Input of instruction control unit 9 is connected to unit 5 and its output to actuating mechanism 10. The apparatus has also signal delay unit 11, unit 12 for determining the moment, when the mineral enters the irradiation and recording zone, unit 13 for determining the moment, when the mineral leaves the irradiation and recording zone, OR gate and unit 15 for determining residence of the mineral in the irradiation and recording zone. The instruction control unit 9 has shifting register 16 and generator 17. EFFECT: improved efficiency of separation due to improvement of selectivity by determining attitude position of minerals. 1 dwg
