FIELD: concentration of minerals by luminescence excited by X-radiation. SUBSTANCE: method consists in transportation of minerals in form of multilayer flow; subjection of minerals to penetration irradiation; registration of luminescence light signal from side of irradiation and opposite to irradiation one; measurement of intensity of total signal of luminescence from the side of falling flux of penetration irradiation; comparison of intensity of total signal of mineral luminescence with preset threshold value of luminescence intensity and separation of mineral by result of comparison. EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation due to amplification of luminescence signal from slightly luminescence diamonds. 1 dwg
