FIELD: chemical, textile and light industries; forming, tensioning, rewinding and subsequent processing of long-size materials, for example threads, ropes. SUBSTANCE: the device has frame with bearing surface intended to hold immovable support and movable platform with bobbin to receive thread. Placed between the bearing surface and the platform is pneumatic chamber connected with the unit intended to feed gas into and bleed it out of the chamber and for regulating pressure therein. The chamber may be divided into several sections. In another embodiment, the support may be made in the form of immovable base and two side pneumatic chambers. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
