FIELD: transport engineering; carriage of passengers and cargoes; executing various operations where vehicle is to be used. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has frame, propulsion unit and support members in contact with bearing base medium. If tops of plants are used as bearing base medium, support member is made in form of flat bottom. Flat bottom has the outline of regular polygon or circle with bent edges. Propulsion unit is mounted on platform installed on frame coaxially with support member bottom. Platform of such device should be preferably made movable around axle common with bottom and should be provided with platform and propulsion unit rotation mechanism. Bottom can be made perforated. Bent edges of bottom should be preferably made movable and furnished with mechanism to provide their movement. Vehicle can be made with connecting units joining the vehicles into linear and/or plane transportation system. EFFECT: enhanced performance characteristics of vehicle. 3 cl, 6 dwg
