BIOMETHANE PRODUCING PLANT Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: anaerobic treatment of sewage and processing of carbon-nitrogen-containing solid domestic wastes with production of biomethane in individual houses. SUBSTANCE: the offered plant has vertical body separated by partitions into compartments successively connected from loading device to unloading device. These are acid, neutral, alkali and methane fermentation ones. Plant has mixing device whose body accommodates drive shaft with blades located under perforated bottoms of compartments. Blades are of screw shape and brushing the bottoms in mixing, and assuming vertical position when mixing is discontinued. Plant has hydraulic seal and section of precipitation of solid component of postfermented sediments with outlet for discharge of the latter. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
