METHANE FERMENTATION APPARATUS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture and animal husbandry. SUBSTANCE: purification of agricultural sewage water and utilization of life activity products of animals and poultry at sites of their keeping with production of biomethane and biological fertilizer can be effected by apparatus having horizontal body divided by vertical partitions with perforated sections into chambers of acid, neutral, alkali and methane fermentation. Located inside body is stirring device in the form of horizontal power-driven shaft with blades interacting with perforated sections of partitions. Apparatus is provided with charging device which is cooperating with chopper having housing with grainy, abrasive, immobilization burden and power-driven shaft with blades. One wall of housing is perforated for connecting its space with acid fermentation chamber. Located at outlet section of apparatus is settling chamber. Provided in upper part of apparatus is gas hollow, and in lower part - setting space. Apparatus is able of producing biomethane and biological fertilizer in the form of solid component of postfermentation residue. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 dwg
