DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING ROOFS OF PRODUCTION ROOMS IN MINERAL HYDRAULIC BOREHOLE MINING Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry; mining of solid minerals and production of water from water-bearing horizons. SUBSTANCE: the offered device has movable and immovable hinges mounted on pipe and connected by two-member links. Device has hinged stop members installed in recesses made in movable hinge, shutoff device for closing the pipe section in supply of cementing mortars and flexible shield secured to lower part of two-member links in form of inverter mushroom. Made in pipe are radial holes for supply to annular space and to shield of cementing mortars. Movable hinge may be made in form of ring fitted on pipe. After installation of the device in preliminarily drilled hole, hinged stops are set to horizontal position, and device is hoisted until two-member links are folded and assume, together with flexible shield, the shape of inverter umbrella. Then, pipe section is shutoff, and cementing mortars are supplied to annular space to produce support of roof of production room. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
