FIELD: power-plant engineering; rotary engines burning solid fuel, such as pulverized coal. SUBSTANCE: engine working and combustion chambers are combined into working-chamber unit and combustion-chamber unit, the latter has both chambers coupled to form common neck communicating with annular chamber of working-chamber unit through inlet pipe and with distribution chamber, through outlet pipe and that around combustion chambers. Engine has exhaust-gas chamber, gears installed on rotor guides, hot-water and steam producing device, hopper whose outlet hole is located in nozzle contraction of pipe communicating with compressor, and cylinder incorporating motor and coal grips. Pulverized fuel supply unit is provided with belt conveyer whose outlet end is installed above cylinder holding coal grips; control unit is, essentially, computer governing motor speed and coal-grips cylinder joined with motor shaft; hopper is mounted with its wide hole under cylinder and with its narrow hole connected to compressed-air feeding pipe running from compressor and placed in nozzle contraction of pipe running downward from hopper, connected to combustion-chamber neck, and provided with pointed edge dividing it into two branches each communicating with respective chamber.
