FIELD: heat and cold transfer systems. SUBSTANCE: system includes set of two or more reaction chambers 12, 14, 16 and 18; each chamber contains solid reagent adsorbent and gaseous reagent adsorbed on it; each compound has different pressure as compared with pressure of gaseous reagent irrespective of concentration of gaseous reagent and has ascending order of pressure of gaseous reagent whose temperature of adsorption of low-pressure compound at adsorption pressure exceeds temperature of desorption of next compound at higher pressure of vapors at desorption pressure by at least 8 C. System includes also devices 17, 19, 52, 54 and 56 for directing the heat-transfer fluid medium to above-mentioned reaction chambers and away from them. Heat of exothermic reaction of adsorption is directed to reaction chamber for initiation of endothermic reaction of desorption. System is provided with devices for heat exchange for selective release and/or absorption of heat from above-mentioned reaction chambers, condensation devices including condenser 26 and pipe lines 38 for directing the gaseous reagent from evaporator to each reaction chamber and two or more evaporators operating at different temperature each. Gaseous reagent contains ammonia, water, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, low alcohol, akylamine, polyamine, phosphine or polar cooling agent having at least one pair of free electrons; solid reagent contains inorganic salt. Besides that, system is provided with vapor recuperator 40 for heat exchange between cooling agent flowing from reactors to condenser and from evaporator to reactors and liquid subcooler 42 for heat exchange between cooling agent flowing from condenser 26 and cold vapor escaping from evaporator 24.
