FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: current lead has clamping member made as collar of flexible metal and leads coupled by fastening member (screw and nut). Current lead has U-shaped electrode of soft metal which has recess in the middle of base over its entire width for 0.25-0.4 of profile length. It has also projection which is extension of one of profile walls. Projection is provided for connection of current lead to electric circuit. Clamping member embracing the electrode is positioned above electrode recess, and its leads are clamped at electrode wall by fastening member. Current lead variant has clamping member made as collar of flexible metal and leads coupled by fastening member. It can be provided additionally with second clamping member and U-shaped electrode made of soft metal. Electrode has two recesses in the middle of base over the entire width of profile for 0.15-0.25 of its length and projection which is extension of one of the profile for connection to electric circuit. Clamping members embracing the electrode are positioned above recesses in electrode, and their leads are clamped at electrode wall by means of fastening members.
