Pulp viability is determined by means of oscillation analyzer of radiation intensity scattered in tooth body, the analyzer being designed as filter having wave bandwidth of 0.1-0.2 Hz. Radiation intensity oscillation amplitude for radiation dispersed in tooth under examination being greater than that dispersed in healthy tooth, pulpar chamber inflammation diagnosis conclusions are made. The other version of the device has photodetector as programmable signal recording matrix, and two-dimensional image analyzer.
