FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: initial mixture is heated to produce vapor mixture containing lower- and higher-boiling fractions. Vapors are condensed. Heat evolving on vapor condensation is removed by vaporization of an additional liquid working mixture at pre-boiling or boiling state at temperature below that of boiling of pure lower-boiling fraction but above the temperature of complete condensation of that fraction. As a result, liquid vapors of lower-boiling fraction and condensate of mixture of lower- and higher-boiling fractions are obtained, liquid vapors of lower-boiling fraction being removed for subsequent condensation and condensate combined with initial fraction. Process is carried out in this mode until pure lower-boiling fraction is completely isolated. EFFECT: increased separation efficiency. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
