FIELD: rolling; production of bar section. SUBSTANCE: modular rolling mill has several rolling modules arranged in series on rolling line of mill. Each rolling module has several pairs of mechanically interconnected working rolls. Installed near the rolling mill line is successively installed respective number of reduction gears, each one driven by its own drive motor. Couplings connect at least some of rolling modules with two successively located reduction gears, while the remaining rolling modules are connected with one reduction gear each.
