FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: biotin 2-nitro-4-sulfophenyl ester sodium salt is synthesized by interaction of 2-nitro-4-sulfophenol sodium salt with biotin in medium of dimethylformamide in the presence of dicyclohexylcarbodiimide. Biotin and dicyclohexylcarbodiimide were added to reaction medium by batches up to mole ratio of the indicated reagents with respect to salt = 1:(1.4-1.6):(1.3-1.5), respectively. Invention can be used in bioorganic chemistry and molecular biology for synthesis of oligo(poly)nucleotides and biologically active proteins carrying biotin group. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
