FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: oil stock is mechanically treated on hydrodynamic rotary-pulsation apparatus between rotor and stator, stock being preliminarily subjected to percussive-cavitation excitation between surfaces of stator and two rotor blade regions. Apparatus has casing with oil stock inlet and outlet pipes and, mounted in casing, cylindrical stator and rotor with blades having surfaces adjoining surfaces of stator. Blade surfaces consist of two mutually bordering regions executed in such a way that one region is positioned against the slot in rotor and is in spaced relation to stator surface with clearance equal to that between rotor and stator. Length of this region exceeds width of stator slots but is less than distance between rotor and stator. Clearance between the other region and stator surface is variable and increases in direction of blade rotation. EFFECT: enhanced processing efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
