FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: method involves an aqueous-spirituous extraction of biomass frozen to (-14)-(-18) C at 3-6 C, homogenization, precipitate separation by centrifugation and lyophilization of soluble fraction. The prepared precipitate is dissolved in 0.01 M phosphate buffer followed by gel-chromatography purification on Molselect G-25 and elution with 0.01 M phosphate buffer. Active fractions were combined and lyophilized. Method ensures to increase activity of enzymatic complex by 27-30% (by superoxide dismutase, SOD). Enzymatic complex can be used in medicinal industry.
