FIELD: electroplating. SUBSTANCE: method consists in removing electropositive metals via electrodeposition, isolation of iron via oxidizing and precipitating ferric hydroxide, removing organic impurities through their oxidation and subsequent sorption, and removing electronegative metals by their alkalization to precipitation. All impurities precipitated are filtered off. Purification process is performed in electrolytic bath with small interelectrode distance, diaphragm-separated cathode and anode compartments, and three-dimension cathodes, wherein electrolyte to be treated is passed through cathode and anode compartments in a specified succession depending on electrolyte composition.
