FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine has housing, cylinders with pistons and rods, fuel feed, exhaust gas and ignition systems. Housing is made in form of cylinder accommodating, for instance, 96 cylinders in twelve diametric planes, axes of cylinders being parallel with housing generatrix and engine shaft. Cylinders are arranged at both end faces of housing, i. e. in two rows, and pistons of opposite cylinders are located on one axis and are in opposite cycles. Rollers secured on end of piston rods engage with rotor disk provided with three steps of parallel sinusoidal paths at both end faces. Eight cylinders of engine which are in one cycle have common combustion chamber made in form of torque. Rods of two adjacent cylinders which are in different phases are coupled by bell cranks of swinging mechanism. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 dwg
