FIELD: aircraft and automotive industries. SUBSTANCE: twelve working cylinders are uniformly spaced over outer diameter of cylindrical housing of engine. Axes of cylinders are parallel to housing generatrix and its shaft. Rollers are installed at opposite ends of rods hinge connected to pistons at one side. Rollers are in contact with sinusoidal races made at both end faces of rotor disk rigidly secured on shaft. Rods of each two neighboring pistons in opposite cycles are hinge connected with rocker of swinging compensator fixed in middle. Two common plate-shaped combustion chambers are installed one over the other at both ends faces of housing for every six cylinders whose pistons are in the same working cycle. Spaces of combustion chambers are connected with above-piston space of each cylinder of one of two groups which are in the same working cycle. EFFECT: increased compression ratio, reduced dynamic loads, reduced weight, overall dimensions, simplified design. 3 dwg
