FIELD: mechanical engineering; pumps. SUBSTANCE: stalling is prevented by passing gas-and-liquid mixture through bypass valve after its coming out of pump. Valve is open when value of delivery or parameter characterizing the delivery exceed tolerable limit and is closed when controlled parameter is within tolerable limits. Mixture is taken in before check valve and is passed into behind-the-tube space in area of arrangement of electric motor or below the motor. Shutoff members of check and bypass valves of stall protection device for submersible centrifugal electric pump are connected by rod.
