METHOD OF EXAMINATION OF INTRAVASCULAR PLATELET AGGREGATION IN VITRO Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, hematology. SUBSTANCE: method involves blood taking off, its stabilization, separation for plasma and erythrocytes, preparing platelet-enriched plasma, platelet disaggregation and analysis of data obtained. Blood is stabilized with sodium citrate (concentration is 3.8%) at ratio = 9:1. Separation of blood components is carried out by centrifugation and enriched and depleted fractions with respect to platelets content were obtained. For each patient blood sample extreme values of light transparency were determined: 100% for platelet-depleted plasma and 0% - for platelet-enriched plasma. Degree of intravascular platelet disaggregation is determined using disaggregation curve where maximal value of disaggregation radius is measured. Sample temperature is 36.5-37.5 C followed by stirring that increases precision of method. EFFECT: simplified and increased precision of method. 3 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
